  1. Key changes of the procedure of migration registration of foreign citizens approved within the Order No. 881 of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia as of November 23, 2017:
  • changes in the migration registration application procedure;
  • grounds for refusals to accept the documents for migration registration;
  • migration risks arising due to the new procedure of entering information into the database by the Ministry of Internal Affairs;
  • requirements for notifying the Federal Tax Service and statistical authorities when registering foreign citizens;
  • new forms of documents for migration registration.
      2. Key changes in the procedure for extending of the term of stay of foreign citizens in Russia:
  • changes of the order and interconnection of procedures for migration registration and extension of stay of foreign citizens in Russia;
  • features of extension of stay of citizens of countries-members of the Eurasian Economic Union and the WTO;
  • features of extending the period of stay in Russia of accompanying family members.
