According to point 14, article 13.2 of the Federal as of July 25, 2002 N115, Highly Qualified Specialist (here and after HQS) and his family members are to be insured under the contract of Voluntary Medical Insurance from the day of their arrival to Russia.
This obligation is imposed on the organizations employing and is reflected in the labor contract signed with HQS.
The copies of medical insurance policy valid for the whole period of labor contract validity will be required for work visa renewal for HQS and his family members.
Policy can be issued by Russian insurance companies operating on the territory of RF as well as foreign companies with insurance coverage on the territory of RF.
