Department of Federal Migration Service in Moscow region (Moscow, Solyanka Str., build.9) is no longer accepting the documents for migration register (registration) of foreign citizens in Moscow region except for the citizens of the countries with а high migration risk (China, India, Vietnam, Pakistan, Turkey etc.).
Starting from January 1, 2011 documents for registration of foreign citizens shall be submitted directly to the local departments of The Federal Migration Service.
During the initial request for foreign citizens’ registration the bulk of FMS divisions in Moscow region require organization’s registration.
Once the organization is registered the documents for registration of foreign citizens can be passed to the division of the Federal Migration Service either directly or by post.

Let us remind you that state fee for migration registration (2 rubles for 1 day of stay but not more than 200 rubles) is abolished starting from the 1st of January, 2011.
