Starting from January 2013 applications for Quota 2014 and Quota 2013 correction are excepted. Along with the main quota application for 2014, quota correction applications for 2013 are also accepted.
Quota correction application for decrease of previously specified positions for the current year can now be submitted (if these positions will not be used in the current year);
Quota correction procedure consists of the several stages:
| 1 | Generation of interactive quota correction application onwww.migrakvota.gov.ru | To change a position, citizenship or number of foreign citizens, approved in quota you should first generate application for decrease of certain positions in approved quota and then generate application for quota correction specifying the required positions. Quota correction application for increase of previously specified positions is generated as the main quota application. Can be formed by copying of previously generated application. Citizens from both visa and visa free countries, intended to be hired in the next year shall be indicated. Information about foreign citizens, hired to quota free positions (the list of quota free positions is available here), Highly Qualified Specialists, as well as foreign citizens, intended to be hired within the Intergovernmental agreements on simplified procedure of foreign citizens hire shall not be indicated. |
| 2 | Date and time appointment of documents submission to the Committee for Labor and Employment of the Moscow region | After you have generated and sent quota application for approval on the web site www.migrakvota.gov.ru, go to APPLICATION STATUS menu. In the section TYPE you will find application comments, including the offered date and time for visit to the Committee for Labor and Employment of the Moscow region where you should provide quota application and other documents in written form. |

The Committee for Labor and Employment of Moscow region refers documents to Inter-Departmental Commission for foreign citizens’ hire and employment, which, in turn, considers quota correction applications at the meetings not more than 1 time a months. If application for quota correction is approved, an appropriate letter is sent to employer not earlier than 3 weeks after application is considered. After that, an employer can apply for work permit.
