UFMS of Russia in Moscow (Pokrovka, 42) - changes of work visas processing 28.05.2012

Starting from the second half of May, 2012 speed-up of documents processing for work and transit visas has been limited.

To speed up work visa processing one shall have an exceptional case.

Moreover,  work visas cannot be temporarily extended for the period up to 10 days (not more than 9 times within the period up to 90 days) within i. 67 of the Order of the Government of Russia №335. Such procedure "saved" organizations from renewing their work visa by making a new work invitation letter and applying for work visa to the Russian Consulate abroad in case their new work permit has not been issued to the moment of current work visa expiration.

Let us also inform you that on May 2012 Antoshin Mihail Alekseevich was re-appointed for the position of the head of the department of the UFMS in Moscow, responsible for visas.
