On August 07, 2012 the draft law № 123755-6 as of August 07, 2012 on changes to the FZ as of August 15, 1996 № 114-FZ "On procedures of foreign citizens’ exit from the Russian Federation and entry to the Russian Federation" has been introduced to the State Duma.
After the law come into force, representatives and employees of big foreign companies engaged in investment projects on the territory of Russia, as well as companies-the participants of Skolkovo and international financial center project realization will be able to obtain long-term visas.
The said category of foreign citizens will get the opportunity to obtain visas in the Russian diplomatic representations and Consular organizations on the basis of direct applications of the authorized Russian Federal authorities. The visa can be issued for the period up to 5 years.
