The Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia clarified the issue of the legality of financial organizations requesting a migration card from foreign citizens and stateless persons living in the Russian Federation on the basis of a temporary residence permit and a residence permit.
It is reported that the period of legal stay (residence) on the territory of the Russian Federation of foreign citizens and stateless persons who have valid temporary residence permits and residence permits in the Russian Federation is determined by the validity of issued documents (temporary residence permits, residence permits in the Russian Federation).
Thus, the Ministry of internal Affairs of Russia considers it impractical to request a migration card during servicing by a financial organization of this category of citizens who have valid permits.
