The company Сonfidence Group made a request to Rospotrebnadzor to clarify the following question: "Is it necessary to meet the requirements for isolation for 14 calendar days after entering the Russian Federation for foreign citizens and stateless persons whose migration cards indicate the purpose of the visit other than the purpose of "work", in the event that the specified persons actually work in the Russian Federation?
In accordance with the text of the Resolution of the Chief state sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation of 27.07.2020 No. 22, the need for isolation for 14 calendar days after arrival from abroad was canceled for all persons arriving in the Russian Federation, except for foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving for the purpose of employment. However, when arriving in the Russian Federation, foreign citizens who have, for example, the status of living in the Russian Federation (residence permit or RVP), receive a migration card indicating the purpose of the visit "private", which does not actually prevent them from working on the territory of the Russian Federation."
To date, we have received an official response that in accordance with the resolution of the Chief state sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation of 27.07.2020 No. 22 "On amendments to the resolution of the Chief state sanitary doctor of the Russian Federation of 18.03.2020 No. 7 and 30.03.2020 No. 9" foreign citizens traveling by air to the territory of the Russian Federation must have a medical document in Russian and English confirming a negative result of a COVID-19 PCR test obtained at least 3 days before arrival in the Russian Federation.
All foreign citizens are allowed to work after 14 days of isolation (from the date of entry into the Russian Federation), with a PCR examination for COVID-19 performed on 10-12 days.
