From April 15, 2021 air traffic with Turkey and Tanzania is restricted 13.04.2021

On April 12, 2021, at a meeting of the Operational headquarters for preventing the spread of coronavirus infection in the Russian Federation, as reported on the official website of the Operational headquarters, it was decided to suspend air traffic with Turkey and Tanzania from April 15 to June 1, 2021.

Air traffic with Turkey has been partially stopped – the exception will be the flights organized for the return of Russian citizens to Russia and the destinations for the participation of Concern Titan-2 in the construction of the Akkuyu nuclear power plant. Also, two flights a week Moscow-Istanbul and Istanbul-Moscow will remain on a reciprocal basis.

Air traffic with Tanzania has been completely suspended.

In addition, tour operators were advised to freeze sales of tourist packages to these countries from April 15 to June 1.

At the same time, the list of categories of foreign nationals who can take advantage of the open air traffic and enter the territory of Russia is approved by the Russian Government Decree of 16.03.2020 N 635-p (ed. 31.03.2021), and currently it is not aligned with the new decision of the Operational headquarters on the restriction of the air traffic. We are closely monitoring the updates and will keep you informed of any changes.
