MIA offered foreigners who remained in the RF due to COVID-19 to settle the period of stay in Russia until June 15 03.06.2021

On June 15, the Decree of the President of the Russian Federation of April 18, 2020 No. 274 "On temporary measures to resolve the legal status of foreign citizens and stateless persons in the Russian Federation in connection with the threat of the further spread of a new coronavirus infection (COVID-19)" suspended the terms of temporary stay of foreign citizens and stateless persons, as well as the terms of registration, which expire during this period until June 15, 2021.

Earlier, from the explanations of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, it was assumed that the validity periods of all documents were suspended and would be extended from June 15, 2021 for the period that remained with them from April 18, 2020.
