From July 1, 2021, an agreement between the governments of the Russian Federation and the Islamic Republic of Iran on visa-free group tourist trips comes into force.
This agreement implies a visa-free visit to both countries as part of tourist groups of 5 to 50 people and for a period not exceeding 15 days. One visa will be issued for the entire tourist group.
Rosturizm and executive authorities in the field of tourism of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation and the Ministry of Cultural Heritage, Crafts and Tourism of Iran are appointed coordinators of this agreement.
However, we draw your attention to the fact that Russia, as also Iran, has introduced temporary restrictions on mutual tourist trips due to the unfavorable epidemic situation. Therefore, tourists will be able to visit the countries only after its withdrawal.
