Foreigners arriving in Russia for the 2020 UEFA European Football Championship must leave the country no later than July 12, 2021, the Russian Interior Ministry's press service said.
In accordance with Russian Government Decree No. 822 dated 16 May 2021, foreign nationals and stateless persons arriving as spectators of the championship must leave the territory of the Russian Federation by 12 July 2021, inclusive," the statement reads.
The Russian Interior Ministry draws attention to the fact that the further stay of foreign fans in the Russian Federation in the absence of other grounds stipulated by law, entails liability in accordance with the current legislation.
The ministry also emphasised that foreign fans who entered with a fan passport (FAN ID) are not covered by the presidential decree on the extension of the temporary stay of foreign nationals due to the coronavirus.
