Indonesia will allow entry of vaccinated Russian vaccines 15.07.2021

On July 8, 2021, the Government of Indonesia signed a decree according to which entry into Indonesia will be allowed to foreigners who have completed a full course of vaccination with vaccine approved by the manufacturing country. If a foreigner cannot be vaccinated for medical reasons, he/she will have to present an official document confirming this.
 
The official website of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia states, inter alia, that “Foreign nationals who wish to enter Indonesia must present a COVID-19 vaccination certificate with full doses in accordance with the provisions of the vaccination protocol issued by the health authority / pharmaceutical factory making the vaccine in question. The vaccine must be approved by the country of residence”. All Russian vaccines fall under this definition, for example, Sputnik V, CoviVac and EpivacCorona.
 
However, while Indonesia is closed to tourists. Due to the increase in the incidence of COVID-19, to enter the country, foreigners now need to present a certificate of complete vaccination; vaccines approved by WHO or Indonesia, and have a PCR test with them. After arriving in the country, he/she must pass another PCR test and go to the hotel for 8 days of isolation.
