Ukraine applied a mandatory isolation for Russians 29.07.2021

On Wednesday, July 28, 2021, the Minister of Health of Ukraine Viktor Lyashko said that all Russians arriving in Ukraine, as well as unvaccinated foreign citizens and citizens of Ukraine who were in India or Russia for the last 7 days before crossing the Ukrainian border, are subject to mandatory 14 days isolation or observation without the possibility of early termination. These measures are caused by the spread of the delta strain.

The restrictions will take effect 7 days after the publication of the corresponding decree.

In addition, it was noted that persons vaccinated with the Sputnik V vaccine are not considered vaccinated in Ukraine, since this vaccine is not included in the list of the World Health Organization.
