From November 2021, Vietnam is embarking on a program to gradually remove restrictions on tourist flow to its country. This program will consist of three stages.
At the first stage, tourists who have completed the full course of vaccination or have been ill with COVID-19 will be able to enter the country without mandatory quarantine. At the same time, they need to purchase a package tour in five directions of Vietnam:
- Phu Quoc Island;
- Danang resort;
- Quang Nam province;
- Khanh Hoa province;
- Quagnin province.
From January 2022, when the second stage of the program begins, tourists will have the opportunity, after 7 days of stay at the first destination, to move to other regions, the list of which will be announced later.
At the third stage, it is planned to fully open the country.
Please note that in addition to the certificate of full vaccination (made no earlier than 14 days ago, but no more than 1 year) / information about the transferred disease (no more than 6 months ago), the tourist must present a negative test for COVID- 19, made less than 72 hours ago, as well as health insurance that includes treatment for new coronavirus infection.
