Due to the decline in international passenger traffic, Sheremetyevo Airport is optimizing its activities.
- terminals E and D and one of the runways will be temporarily out of service;
- operating terminals B and C will have only one business lounge each: Rublyov and Lissitzky, Kandinsky and Malevich halls are closed;
- since March 15, the schedule of inter-terminal trains between Sheremetyevo 1 and Sheremetyevo 2 stations has changed, only one train out of two remains;
- all flights to Sheremetyevo will be operated from the northern terminal zone, to which Aeroexpress does not go; only an inter-terminal train runs there from the southern zone of the airport. These changes entail an increase in arrival time at the airport by an average of 1 hour for those who use trains as a way to get to the airport.
