Starting from February 2013 UFMS of Moscow (Pokrovka str., 42) has changed the rules of extension of single and multiple-entry work and student visas.
According to the article 74 of the Administrative regulations of FMS on issue, extension and cancelation of visas as of November 8, 2007 N430, the documents for extension of work or student visa shall be submitted to UFMS not later than 20 calendar days before current visa expiration.
The requirement applies to all categories of foreign citizens, including HQS and foreign citizens hired within the International agreements.
