In case an applicant pays extra £100 for urgent consideration of the documents the application processing time is approximately 8 working days from application date. An applicant can make an online application with urgent consideration also on June, 24, 2014. Payment for urgency is made on the website of the service and visa operator.
There is still a possibility to apply for a visa to the UK in the VIP lounge. It costs £89. As of May, 21, 2014, an applicant could make an online application in the VIP lounge on June, 4, 2014. The application processing time for a standard visa is also more than one month from application date.
In addition to the VIP lounge service an applicant may choose urgent consideration of the documents, an extra charge at the rate of £100 must be paid in the service and visa center. In this case the application processing time will be approximately 8 working days from application date.
Thus, in case of payment for VIP lounge and urgent visa, an applicant who plans a trip to certain dates has a real chance that the trip will take place in due time. In all other cases, the visa can be issued to the applicant within two months or more from application date.
The total cost of the urgent visa will be about 10,900 rubles (urgent visa + visa fee) and the total cost of the urgent visa in the VIP lounge will be 16,300 (VIP lounge, urgent visa + visa fee).

Albania canceled visa regime for citizens of Russia for the period from May, 25 to September, 30, 2014.
The government of the Balkan country has decided to unilaterally cancel the visa regime for citizens of some post-Soviet and Arab countries to attract more tourists to Albania. According to the official information, the visa-free regime with Russia, Moldavia, UAE, Qatar, Oman and Kuwait will act in the period from May, 25 to September, 30, 2014. Citizens of the above mentioned countries will be able to cross the borders of Albania, while presenting their passports.
