UAE will introduce multiple-entry visas for tourists in August

According to local media with reference to the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the United Arab Emirates, the UAE will introduce multiple-entry visas for tourists in August. There also will be new types of visas: visas for students, participants of conferences and medical travelers.

In addition, visa charges will be changed according to the type of visa. The new tariffs will be soon announced on the website of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the United Arab Emirates.

According to the company West-line Travel, innovation won’t help to increase the numbers of tourists and their returns to the country.

The UAE is not one of the directions visited several times a year.  The only one reason of increase the numbers of tourists is cancellation of visa regime. The winter season was not very successful, but we hope that this year demand will increase.  According to Oksana Andreeva, the head of the United Arab Emirates West-line Travel department, tours to the UAE are sold even for November.

We would like to remind you that 22 million of tourists had rested in the UAE in the 1st quarter of 2014.

According to Rosstat, 215 thousand of tourists visited the UAE in the 1st quarter of 2014, 650 of them were Russians.  It is 1% lower than at the same period last year.

To Bulgaria with Cyprus, Romanian or Croatian visas

According to the press-cutting service of the Council of Ministers of Bulgaria, visas for transit and short-term visas issued by Romania, Cyprus and Croatia are equated with national visas of Bulgaria.

The Bulgarian Government has decided that before the date of Bulgarian joining to the Schengen area, transit, short-term visas and residence permits issued by Romania, Cyprus and Croatia will be equal to national visas of Bulgaria.

As a result of this decision, the owners of these documents have the right to enter to the country and stay on the territory of Bulgaria not more than 90 days within 180 days without obtaining a Bulgarian visa.

This decision is planned to increase the number of foreign tourists and businessmen with Schengen visas and residence permits issued by the EU Member States.

However, the entry to the country is permitted only on multiple Schengen visas, whereas the type of visa was not specified before. Bulgarian visa can be issued in one of the 20 visa centers in Russian regions.  It often takes several days.

Difficulties with obtaining UK visas

Confidence Group is pleased to inform you about the current situation in the UK Visa Center. We would like to remind you that on March, 2014, service and visa operator of the Consulate of Great Britain in Moscow has been changed. So huge queues and increased application processing time occurred due to this.

As of August, 5, 2014, the situation became normal. Huge queues of 300-400 people disappeared. Submission and receiving of documents takes from 30 minutes to 1,5 hours. The only thing that did not become normal is the time of consideration of documents. There is no certain application processing time in case of standard applying. On average, the application processing time is from 1 calendar month. In case of urgent applying for a visa, the application processing time is 7-8 days; however, most of these documents are not ready at this period.

We would also like to remind you that, there is a record on the standard and urgent applying for a visa, as before, the waiting period of this record is 3-4 days.

Thus, Confidence Group recommends you to plan trips in advance.
