American Chamber of Commerce and Association of European Businesses in Russian Federation together with the Federal Migration Service introduced a new procedure of foreign staff legalization. This procedure is intended only for AmCham and AEB members and allows an employer to submit the documents at once for:
- Center for Employment approval
- company’s labor hire permit
- work permit
- invitation letter for work visa
For this purposes the Federal Migration Service allocated a special window at: 2nd Myasnikovskaya street, 10A, which accepts the documents at “one window” regime from Monday to Friday at working hours.
To start using "one window" services an employer should first register within FMS presenting AmCham or AEB member certificate along with the other documents. For detailed information please contact Confidence Group Consultants.
It is declared that the period of “one window” documents processing will not exceed 28 working days. Valid approvals from the Center for Employment will make the procedure faster – up to 30 calendar days.
To the moment the Federal Migration Service accepts the documents from the registered employers only for company's labor hire and work permits and only on the basis of valid approvals from the Centers for Employment.
Starting from September 2008 AmCham is planning to assist its members in delivering the documents to the Federal Migration Service.
"One window" application procedure is also available for representative offices and branches of foreign companies.
In order to obtain/prolong work visa all legal entities, including representative offices and branches of foreign companies, should apply to the Federal Migration Service at: Pokrovka street, 42.
