In accordance with the order of Mr. Molodievskiy - the Head of the Federal Migration Service of Moscow region from August, 14 2009, migration register (registration) of foreign citizens can not be made by local FMS departments of Moscow Region any longer. For migration register (registration) of foreign citizens in Moscow Region a host party should apply to the Department of the Federal Migration Service of Moscow Region, located at the following address: Moscow, Solyanka str., 9A, building 1.
Department of the FMS of Moscow Region recommends for a host parties to apply for migration register (registration) in person.
Migration register (registration) is made on all types of visas including work and business visas. Work visas are registered up to the end of the visa validity, business visas can be registered for the period of not more than 90 days.
