On December 23, 2009 the State Duma passed the Federal Law № 374-ФЗ from December 27, 2009 increasing the State fees for migration services for foreign citizens who enter, stay and work on the territory of Russia.
The Federal Law will come into force on January 29, 2010.
Let us introduce the most important of the changes:

| Foreign labor hire permit | 3000 | 6000 |
| Work permit | 1000 | 2000 |
| Invitation letter for Russian visa (business/work/other) | 200 | 500 |
| Multiple entry work visa | 400 | 1000 |
