On September 22, 2010 the Ministry of Healthcare and Social Development issued the drafts of documents concerning foreign labor hire in 2011. These drafts of Government resolutions determine quota for work permits and work letters of invitations for foreign employees.
1 745 854 work permits are planned to be issued next year. It is 10% less than in the previous year.
This reduction is explained by the following new Quota free mechanisms of foreign labor hire (came into force in July 2010):
- Patent system for those working for individuals;
- Simplified procedure for obtaining work permits for Highly Qualified Specialists.
