New rules of entry to Montenegro 15.03.2021

On March 10, 2021 the Government of Montenegro announced in Twitter of the tightening of the entry conditions for foreign citizens.

According to the new measures, citizens of Montenegro, foreigners with permanent or temporary residence in Montenegro, as well as all other foreigners, if they do not enter from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Serbia, Kosovo or Albania, must provide one of the three types of documents:
  • a negative test result for COVID-19 not older than 48 hours (a PCR test or an antigen test);
  • serological antibody test (not older than 1 month);
  • a certificate of vaccination against COVID-19 (the specific vaccine is not mentioned).
Also, according to the information from the Government of Montenegro, in most municipalities of the country (Podgorica, Budva, Tivat, Herceg Novi, Ulcinj, Cetinje, Niksic, Pluzine, Bar, Kotor and Pljevlja), kindergartens and schools, trade and catering establishments stop working. Movement between municipalities is limited.
