Rospotrebnadzor has changed the requirements for Russians returning to the country 07.07.2021

Since July 7, citizens of the Russian Federation arriving from abroad are required to pass only one test for COVID-19 and upload it to the GosUslugi portal. Moreover, if such a citizen has completed a full course of vaccination with a vaccine registered in Russia within the last 12 months or within last 6 months recovered from COVID-19, then he/she needs just to indicate this when transferring information and do not need to take the test.

At the same time, as before, it is necessary to observe isolation until a negative test result for COVID-19.

The Chief Health Inspector of Russia Anna Popova signed the corresponding decree.

In addition, the decree states that citizens of the EAEU member states and Tajikistan, as we wrote earlier, from July 10, 2021, and citizens of Azerbaijan, Moldova, Uzbekistan and Turkmenistan, from September 1, 2021, will be able to cross the state border of the Russian Federation only if there is the application "Traveling without COVID-19" on their mobile devises with a negative test result loaded into it, performed no earlier than 3 calendar days before crossing the border (for more details here).
