Russian tourists do not need a visa to visit Namibia 15.07.2021

The Agreement on Mutual Recognition of Visas will enter into force on August 2, 2021. It states, in particular, that “citizens of one of the countries holding travel documents can enter, leave, transit and stay in the territory of another state without visas for up to 90 calendar days within each period of 180 days, counting from the date of their first entry.

In addition, since 2020, Namibia has been open for tourism. The rules for entering the country are very loyal. All persons over five years old must present a PCR test done no later than 7 days before departure.

The Russian Federation has never had a direct flight connection with Namibia. The easiest way to get to Namibia is to fly with a change to Addis Ababa or Frankfurt.
