By decree of 01.09.2021 N 22, the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia made a decision to invalidate the decree of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia of 21.12.2020 N 43 "On ensuring the isolation of persons arriving from the United Kingdom of Great Britain and Northern Ireland in order to prevent the spread of COVID- 19".
Now there are general rules for those returning from the United Kingdom, as follows:
- citizens of Russia must perform a PCR test for COVID-19 and upload it on the website of GosUslugi within four days from the moment of crossing the border, or provide information about a past coronavirus or vaccination;
- foreign citizens must have with them the result of a negative PCR test in Russian or English done no earlier than 72 hours before crossing the border;
- foreign citizens and stateless persons arriving from the territory of Azerbaijan, Armenia, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, Uzbekistan must install the application "Traveling without COVID-19" and upload the result of a negative PCR test made no earlier than 72 hours before the border crossing.
We draw your attention to the fact that according to the decree of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia of July 15, 2020 N 21, foreign citizens arriving in Russia in order to carry out labor activities must fulfill the requirement for isolation for a period of 14 calendar days from the date of arrival.
