In continuation of our news, we would like to draw your attention to the fact that according to the Decree of the Government of Russia of August 24, 2021 No. 1405, now the control over the activities of employers (companies and individual entrepreneurs) that attract foreign workers will take place only in two versions:
- unscheduled documentary verification;
- unscheduled on-site inspection.
These changes were made to the Regulation on the implementation of federal state control (supervision) in the field of migration.
We remind you that, according to the Government Decree of 13.12.2012 No. 1162, during unscheduled inspections, the MIA department for migration issues can carry out the following activities:
- inspection of the employer's territory to establish the fact of the presence of foreign citizens;
- determining whether the stay of foreign citizens is legal;
- determination of whether the procedure for the implementation of labor activity is observed;
- obtaining information and documents related to the subject of inspection, etc.
