In connection with the holding of the Russian stage of the FIA Formula 1 World Championship in Sochi from August 11 to October 31, 2021, the Government of Russia issued an order dated 10.08.2021 No. 2209-p, according to which foreign persons who are participants, honored guests, representatives of the press, participants in the preparation of the Russian stage, are allowed to enter the territory of Russia and to issue visas at the request of the organizing committee.
To pass through the state border of Russia, these foreign persons must be included in the list of border crossing by the Ministry of Sports of Russia and the Ministry of Digital Industry of Russia.
