Non-working days have been introduced in Russia from 30.10.2021 to 07.11.2021 20.10.2021

In connection with the increase in cases of new coronavirus infection in the territory of Russia, the President of Russia, Vladimir Putin, accepted Tatyana Golikova's offer and introduced a “non-working days with payroll” regime from October 30 to November 7, 2021.

As before, this provision will not apply to organizations that are critical for ensuring the functioning of urban infrastructure, to enterprises of the defense sector, to Rosatom, Roskosmos, etc.

As for Moscow, in addition to non-working days, the decree of the Mayor of Moscow No. 61-UM dated October 19, 2021 introduced the following restrictions from October 25, 2021 to February 25, 2022:

  • for persons over 60 years old and / or suffering from chronic diseases, a compulsory home regimen has been introduced (in the absence of vaccination and a previous illness);
  • employers operating in Moscow are obliged to switch to remote mode of work at least 30% of the total number of employees (and report on this on a weekly basis);
  • organizations working in the service sector are required to ensure that at least 80% of the total number of employees are vaccinated.

Please note that the mayor of Moscow, S.S. Sobyanin announced the possibility of introducing a "lockdown" for this period and suspending the activities of almost all enterprises, as well as state institutions, including the Multifunctional Migration Center in Sakharovo, if the situation continues to deteriorate.
