From today, December 8, 2021, amendments to the Resolutions of the Chief Sanitary Doctor of Russia come into force, which were approved by the following Resolutions:
- Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia of December 4, 2021 No. 35 "On Amending the Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia No. 18 of July 7, 2021" On Measures to Limit the Spread of New Coronavirus Infection (COVID-2019) in cases of mass events ";
- Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia dated 04.12.2021 No. 34 "On Amendments to the Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia dated 18.03.2020 No. 7" On ensuring isolation in order to prevent the spread of COVID-2019";
- Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia of December 4, 2021 No. 33 "On Amendments to the Sanitary and Epidemiological Rules of SP 3.1.3597-20" Prevention of New Coronavirus Infection (COVID) -19) ", approved by the Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia dated 05/22/2020 No. 15 ";
- Resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia dated 04.12.2021 No. 32 "On strengthening measures aimed at preventing the import and spread of a new strain of COVID-19 in the territory of Russia."
In particular, the following changes are anticipated:
- persons arriving from the Republic of Botswana, the Republic of Zimbabwe, the Kingdom of Lesotho, the Republic of Madagascar, the Republic of Mozambique, the Republic of Namibia, the United Republic of Tanzania, the Kingdom of Eswatini, the Republic of South Africa and the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region on the territory of Russia (with the exception of crew members of the air and sea vessel) to observe the isolation regime with the passage of PCR two times within 14 days from the date of arrival: within 2 days from the moment of arrival and from the 10th to the 12th day from the moment of arrival;
- the period of validity of a negative PCR result (and QR) is 48 hours from the time of the laboratory test result. However, how to find out this time is not specified, most often the date of receipt of the biomaterial is indicated on the test results themselves, i.e. delivery of PCR;;
- foreign citizens and stateless persons upon entering the territory of Russia are obliged to present a negative result of the PCR test selected no earlier than 2 calendar days before arriving in the territory of Russia.
