PCR test in Greece is now valid for 48 hours 17.12.2021

In connection with the discovery of a new omicron strain, the Government of Greece has decided to require from December 19, 2021, from all visitors to the country, including those who have undergone full vaccination, a negative PCR test, made no earlier than 48 hours before the trip.
 
In addition, earlier, from December 15, 2021, Greece reduced the validity of a certificate of a past illness. Now those who have recovered can enter without a PCR test if they recovered no more than 90 days ago. An exception is the certificates of those who have been ill, issued in the period from July 15 to October 31 - they, as before, are valid for 6 months.
