Decree of the Government of Russia No. 2856-r dated October 11, 2021 established a quota for issuing 18,955 temporary residence permits in Russia to foreigners and stateless persons in 2022.
The quota has been further reduced compared to 2021. This is due, among other things, to the fact that in recent years a number of decisions have been made on admission to citizenship in a simplified manner, bypassing the TRP.
The TRP quota in Moscow will be 1,500, in St. Petersburg - 600, in the Leningrad Region - 250.
