Starting from the 1st of January 2011, the new Federal Law N229 as of July 27, 2010 “Changes to a number of articles of the Labor Code” comes into force. Among other changes the new law cancels a number of state fees pointed out in subparagraphs 20 and 21, paragraph 1, Article 333.28, Part 2 of Tax Code. They are:
- Migration register (registration) of foreign citizens on the territory of Russia (2 rubles for each day, but not more than 200 rubles);
- Temporary stay extension of foreign citizens on the territory of Russia (2 rubles for each day, but not more than 600 rubles).
