Rospotrebnadzor provided clarifications on the 14-day compulsory isolation of foreign citizens 21.10.2021

In the vastness of the Internet, explanations of the Central Office of Rospotrebnadzor for their regional bodies appeared.  According to it, now the rules of 14-day isolation of foreign citizens, provided for by the Decree of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia of 30.03.2020 N 9, does not apply to some categories of foreign citizens arriving for work purposes.

Now, the requirement for mandatory 14-day isolation will apply only to foreign citizens who arrived in the territory of Russia in order to carry out labor activities as part of organizational groups under the algorithm of actions to attract foreign citizens to the economy of Russia.
All other categories of foreign citizens must provide only a negative test result for a new coronavirus infection (in English or Russian), performed no earlier than 72 hours before arrival in Russia.
However, we draw your attention to the fact that these clarifications are an internal document of Rospotrebnadzor and are not a regulatory legal act, and no changes were made to the resolution of the Chief State Sanitary Doctor of Russia of 30.03.2020 N 9, in connection with which in order to avoid risks, it is recommended to continue to observe the 14-day isolation until formal changes in the supply are made.
