Since October 23, 2021, Iran has allowed entry into its territory not only for organized groups of tourists, but also for individual travelers. At the same time, organized groups of tourists (from 5 to 50 people) will not need a visa, but individual travelers can apply for it at the embassy.
To visit the country, citizens of Russia only need to have a negative test result for COVID-19, per-formed no earlier than 96 hours before crossing the border (does not apply to children under 12 years old).
Russian tour operators also confirmed that they are ready to return Iran to their lineup, because due to restrictions in many countries, it has every chance to interest Russian tourists.
